While these events have been their constant issue, several discussions came up as to the possibility for further real estate development to some place in the small town that was not taken so much notice. The lumber barons had come out to an agreement for them to have a joint venture in 1891. The merger took place between The Lytle Brothers and the Polson Brothers Logging Company. After twelve years of operation, Merrill and Ring Corporation likewise incorporated with them making them more powerful in the logging industry. Polson Logging Company then became the official trademark.
